How Referral Program Works
This guide will walk you through enabling your referral program and displaying the referral widget on your store.
1. Enable the Referral Program
Once you've set up the discount for your referral program, the next step is to enable it within your app admin. This activates the program, making it ready for your customers.
2. Display the Referral Widget into Your Theme
After enabling the program, you'll need to add the referral widget to your store's theme customization. This widget is crucial for your customers to participate in the referral program.
The referral widget will display the following:
- Referral Link: This is the unique link your customers will share with their friends to make referrals.
- Active Reward Button: If a customer has successfully referred someone previously, this button will appear, allowing them to view any active rewards they've earned.
- Referral Details: The widget will also show what your customer will receive (e.g., a discount, store credit) and what their friend will get upon a successful referral (e.g., a first-time purchase discount).
Additionally, your customer have the option to share the referral link through their social media account from the referral widget.
When a referred friend opens the referral link, they will see a pop-up. They must click on the "Claim Discount" button within the pop-up in order to receive the referral discount.
