Rivyo Referral Program

A Referral program is a strategic marketing initiative designed to incentivize existing customers to advocate for your brand and attract new customers. This approach leverages word-of-mouth marketing, often considered one of the most credible and effective forms of advertising.


Referral program offers two distinct ways to reward both your existing customers and their new connections. You can easily manage these settings through the side menu by navigating to "Referral Program."


  1. Reward for Referred Friend : This option allows you to determine the reward your customer's new connection receives. This reward is automatically applied to their very first purchase with you.


  2. Reward for Referrer : This option lets you set the reward for your existing customers (the "referrers"). They will receive their reward once any of their referred new connections complete their first purchase

  • Below are the rewards that you can offer to your customer for referral:
  1. Amount Discount : This will generate a code with specific amount discount that your customer can apply at check out
  2. % off Discount : This option creates a code that applies a specific percentage off the total order. Customers will use this code at checkout to receive the discount.
  3. Free Shipping : This discount waives shipping charges for the customer's order.
  4. Bonus Point (Loyalty program) : This option allows you to add points directly to a customer's loyalty account. These points can then be redeemed later for various rewards based on your Loyalty program's settings.
  5. Customer Store Credit : This discount directly applies a pre-set monetary amount to a customer's order. It functions as a store credit, automatically reducing the order total without the need for a code.


The rewards option enables you to customize the discount according to your requirements in order to offer your customers.


  • Minimum purchase value : You can set a minimum purchase value that customers must meet to qualify for the discount.
  • Discount expiry : Utilize the discount expiry days setting to create a sense of urgency. By defining a limited window for redemption, you can encourage customers to use their discount promptly.
  • Can be combine with other discounts : Decide whether your discount can be combined with other discounts already active in your store. This option gives you control over how multiple promotions interact, preventing excessive stacking of discounts if not desired.
  • Discount applies to All product or Selected collection: You have the flexibility to apply the discount broadly or selectively. Choose to apply the discount to all products in your store, or narrow its scope to selected collections if you wish to exclude certain items from the discount.
