How to Copy Reviews from One Product to Another?

This guide outlines the steps to copy reviews from one product to another within your shopify store using Rivyo :


Step 1 : Export all reviews from your store, this will download a CSV file to your system.

Step 2 : Retain only the desired reviews from the CSV while deleting the rest.

  • For example, if you have products A, B, C, D, E, F, and you wish to copy all the reviews from product A to product B. You will only retain the reviews for product A in the CSV file, discarding the reviews for all the other products.

Step 3 : Replace the current product handle under the product handle column with the product handle of the destination product for all remaining rows and save the CSV file.

Step 4 : Once the CSV file has been updated, import the CSV file back into your store.

Upon successful import, all filtered reviews from the source product ("Product A") will be transferred to the destination product ("Product B").
