Importing and Exporting Loyalty Points in Rivyo

The Rivyo: Reviews & Loyalty app provides a powerful loyalty points system integrated with your Shopify store to reward customer engagement. You can import and export loyalty points and related customer loyalty data using CSV files to manage large quantities of data efficiently, ideal for migrating from other programs or bulk updating points.

Importing Loyalty Points :

Prepare CSV File :

1. Download the import template from Rivyo dashboard:

Loyalty Program > Customer > Import > Download a sample CSV file (or click here to download the file).

2. Open the CSV template with Excel or Google Sheets.
3. The file include Email, Points Balance, Birthdate, Points Expiry, Created At columns.
4. The Email and Points Balance columns are mandatory and must be filled out. All other fields are optional. When adding the date, please ensure it is in DD-MM-YYYY format.
5. Ensure the customers already exist in your Shopify store; new customers will not be created by CSV import.

• Import CSV File

1. In Rivyo dashboard, go to Loyalty Program > Customer > Import >
2. Click "Add File" button and select your completed CSV file.

3. The import process may take a few minutes depending on file size. Upon completion, you will receive a notification email.

Exporting Loyalty Points :

In Rivyo dashboard, navigate to Loyalty Program > Customer > Click on the Export button, this will download a CSV file in your local system.
