How to create/set rules for Upsell Offer?

The offer will be displayed based on the conditions you define in the offer, such as specific tags, products, collections, vendors, customer information, location, and language. By using 'AND'/'OR' logic, you can combine multiple criteria to create highly targeted and personalized offers. The screenshot below illustrates all available condition types, facilitating the configuration of rules that align with your sales strategy.

We have categorized the rules into 4 types.

  1. Product Based
  2. Customer Specific
  3. Location Based
  4. Language Based

  1. Product Based rules:- These rules determine whether a offer should activate based on the specific products added by customer.
  • Specific Product: The offer will be displayed when the product selected with this condition is triggered and added by the customer in the cart.
  • Specific Collection: The offer will be displayed when a product from any selected collection with this condition is triggered and added by the customer in the cart.
  • Product Tag: The offer will be displayed when a product having the same tag included in this condition is triggered and added by the customer in the cart.
  • Product Vendor: The offer will be displayed when a product having the same vendor name included in this condition is triggered and added by the customer in the cart.

  1. Customer Specific:- You can set up rules to trigger a offer only for certain customers, such as loyal shoppers or specific user groups. These rules depends on customer identification, so the user must be logged in for the offer to activate. This approach helps tailor offers and promotions to the right audience more effectively.

  1. Location Based:- With this rule, you can restrict offer visibility to customers in specific countries, making it easier to create region-specific offers that align with local preferences.

  1. Language Based:- This rule lets you show offers based on the customer’s language, so you can target promotions to specific language preferences.
