How can you get product reviews?

The Rivyo Product Reviews app provides two effective methods for collecting valuable customer feedback via email: Automatic Emails and Manual Emails. This guide will walk you through how to set up and use both options.


1. Automatic Emails :

Automatic Emails allow you to send review request emails to customers a set number of days after their orders have been fulfilled. Once configured, this feature runs on its own, ensuring a steady flow of reviews with minimal effort from your end.


Here's how to enable automatic feedback emails:

Step 1: Open Rivyo in Your Shopify Admin

Go to your store’s Admin Panel, click Apps, and select Rivyo Product Reviews.


Step 2: Go to Email Notification Settings

Inside the Rivyo app, navigate to Settings >> Email Notifications & Coupons >> Email

Step 3: Enable and Configure Automatic Emails

  • Select the "Automatic Email" Tab, and "Enable Automated Emails" and check the box to activate it.
  • Enter the number of days after order fulfillment when you want the review request email to be sent.

  • Click Save to confirm your settings.

Your customers will now automatically receive review request emails after the set delay period.


2. Manual Emails:

Manual Emails allow you to send review requests to specific customers for selected products. This is helpful for existing orders, special cases, or when you want to personally request feedback.


How to Send Manual Review Request Emails

Step 1: Open the Manual Email Tab

  • Within the same email settings page, click on the Manual Email tab.

Step 2: Enter Customer and Product Details

  • Enter the customer’s name(optional) and email address(required) in the provided field.
  • Select the product(s) for which you want to request feedback (up to 5 products can be added).

Click Save to send the manual feedback request.


By leveraging both Automatic and Manual review request options in the Rivyo Product Reviews app, you can efficiently gather authentic customer feedback, enhancing your product listings, improving trust, and boosting conversions.
