Customizing Email Template for Review Collection
This article will guide you through customizing the email template options within the Rivyo Product Review, allowing you to tailor your review request emails to your brand and preferences.
You can customize various elements such as the Email Subject, Mail Button Text, Review Collection Method, Button Style, Email body text, Logo, and Background color.
To customize your email template, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Access the Email Template Settings
- Navigate to the Rivyo Product Review.
- From the main menu, go to Settings and select Email Notifications & Coupons.
- Select Email.
Step 2: Customize Your Mail Template
- Select the Mail Template tab to see all available customization options.
- Modify the format and content according to your preferences.
- Style :
- Email Background Color: Set the overall background color of the email.
- Card Background Color: Customize the background color of the review request card within the email.
- Primary Font Color: Change the main title color for headings and important text.
- Secondary Font Color: Adjust the paragraph text color for subtitles or less prominent text.
- Body Content Line Height: Set the spacing between lines for better readability.
- Headers :
- Header Override Default: Enable this option to use a custom header image.
- Upload Image: Upload a header image with recommended dimensions of 560px by 292px. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, JPG, and WebP, with a file size limit of 2MB.
- Image Width and Height: Customize the width and height of the header image within the specified constraints.
- Body :
- Subject: Customize the email subject line. Use {shop_name} as a placeholder for your shop’s name and {customer} for the customer's name.
- Salutation: Customize the greeting line (e.g., "Hi {customer}").
- Body Content: Edit the main text asking for the customer's review that align with your store.
- Collection Type: Select whether you would prefer to display a star or a button in the email for collecting reviews. Both options will redirect the customer to your store's product page with a review form open, facilitating the submission of reviews.
- Footer :
- Text Content: Add a custom footer message.
- Upload Image: Option to add an image or logo in the footer section. The same image format and size restrictions apply as in the header.
- Preview and Save :
- A live preview is displayed on the right side, showing the email subject, header, body, product image, review stars, and the footer.
- Changes can be reviewed in real time.
- Once satisfied, click the Save button to apply the customizations.
