Customizing Email Template for Review Collection

This article will guide you through customizing the email template options within the Rivyo Product Review, allowing you to tailor your review request emails to your brand and preferences.

You can customize various elements such as the Email Subject, Mail Button Text, Review Collection Method, Button Style, Email body text, Logo, and Background color.


To customize your email template, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Email Template Settings

  • Navigate to the Rivyo Product Review.
  • From the main menu, go to Notifications.
  • Select Email.


Step 2: Customize Your Mail Template

  • Select the Mail Template tab to see all available customization options.
  • Modify the format and content according to your preferences.

  • Review Collection Method: You have the option to display the stars or button in the email template to collect reviews. Both options will redirect to the product page with the write review form open.

Here, you have the option to customize the email body text, background color, and add images according to your brand and preferences.

  • Important: After making your changes, do not forget to click Save to apply them.

Additionally, you can leverage optional tags to dynamically insert specific details into your email template. These tags automatically fetch and display relevant information, enhancing the personalization of your communications. The available tags include:

  • {customer_name}: Inserts the customer's name.
  • {shop_name}: Inserts the name of your shopify store.
  • {shop_owner_name}: Inserts the name of the shop owner.
  • {product_html}: This tag will automatically fetch and display the product details, either from the customer order for automatic email sending or for products you've included when sending a manual email.
  • {{unsubscribe}}: Provides a link for the recipient to unsubscribe from future emails.
